A maxillary anterior tooth is anarea considered important esthetically and is in harmony with the gingiva. Esthetic problems oftenarise because the labial cortical bone of the maxillary anterior teeth is too thin and is absorbed easily. Therefore, an appropriate measure is certainly neededat implant installation inthe maxillary anterior area. In particular, the defect of maxillary anterior periodontium causes an unesthetic profile and decreased satisfaction of patient after a prosthetic treatment. To improve this problem, a range of methods of alveolar ridge augmentation has been studied and performed. This paper reports good resultsofalveolar ridge augmentation using a vascularized interpositional peziosteal-connective tissue flap duringimplant installation on the maxillary anterior teeth area.
